Hello, I’m Sharon, founder of Worldwide Travel Solutions.
I’ve spent more than 40 years in the travel industry, helping people turn ideas, celebrations and long-held travel dreams into holidays they genuinely enjoy.
Travel has changed enormously since I started. We’ve gone from brochures and airline timetables to a world where almost anything can be booked online in a few clicks.
But one thing hasn’t changed: the value of experience and personal advice.
After four decades in travel, I know that choosing a holiday isn’t just about finding a good hotel or the cheapest flight. It’s about understanding what will work for you; how you like to travel, what matters to you, and the little details that can make a good holiday a great one.
Experience you can draw on
I’ve travelled extensively myself, experienced different styles of holidays, stayed in hotels and resorts around the world and sailed on a range of cruise ships. I’ve explored destinations first-hand and built relationships with suppliers and travel partners over many years.
That experience means I can offer advice based on more than what you can find in a brochure or online review. I can often tell you what a destination is really like, which options are worth considering and where it may be worth spending a little more.
And when something doesn’t go according to plan, experience matters too.
Over the years I’ve helped clients deal with cancelled flights, changing itineraries, disrupted journeys and all the unexpected situations that can happen when you travel. For me, looking after a client doesn’t stop once the booking has been made.
It’s personal
Many of my clients have travelled with me for years, and I’m proud that some have become friends along the way. I’ve arranged honeymoons, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, family holidays and once-in-a-lifetime adventures, as well as those much-needed breaks where you want to switch off.
I also love sharing my passion for travel through our hosted journeys, where I get to travel alongside clients and experience destinations together.
